About The Role

A Software Engineer at Car Finance 247 is a passionate front-end technologist with a strong interest in modern web technologies and best practices. You’ll be comfortable working with Vue 3, Pinia, Tailwind, TypeScript, and component-driven development, with hands-on experience using tools like Storybook, Jest, and Capacitor to build, test, and ship high-quality user experiences.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys owning their work end-to-end from shaping solutions and making architectural decisions, through to delivery and ongoing improvement. You care deeply about code quality, performance, accessibility, and maintainability, and you’re motivated by building things the right way, not just the fastest way. You’ll thrive in an environment that values clear thinking, thoughtful collaboration, and meaningful outcomes over simply shipping tickets.

You’ll be building and evolving our customer-facing systems that support thousands of finance applications every month. Working within a modern front-end stack, you’ll help improve and extend large-scale, business-critical applications, contributing to shared component libraries and patterns that are used across teams. There’s a strong emphasis on clean architecture, automated testing, and continuous delivery, with plenty of opportunity to influence technical direction and raise the bar for front-end engineering across the business.

You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers, playing an active role in shaping solutions. In return, you’ll be supported to develop your skills, explore new technologies, and grow your career within a team that genuinely values quality, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
